Really a HAPPIEST moment for our Trust and its volunteers during this complete lockdown period.
We have received calls from Priests (old brahmins) of small temples (both SIVAN & PERUMAL) who lost their daily earning of around Rs.100/- from the offerings of people, due to curfew and are in dire need of provision (they will not take outside food). We have provided provisions to those working in temple MADAPALLI (cook), ladies cleaning the temple also.
We thank God for being in a position to support them at this crucial time and immediately arranged 20 packets of provision worth Rs.500/ each ( due to complete closure of all provision shops I could arrange only 20 packets in the shortest time). One packet is enough for 3 to 4 days only for a family of 2.
We will handover provisions to the remaining 12 priests by Thursday (once 4 days lockout is over). We intend to provide all 32 people with one more provision packet.
