Our Trust has concentrated on educational sponsorship of rural poor students of Tamilnadu from May to July 2018, by disbursing Rs.32.08 lacs to 216 students as school/college fees.
During our visit to districts, we found most of the students in remote rural Schools drink ordinary available water (not purified) which certainly affect their health.
To ensure that these students drink purified water atleast during School hours, your Trust has selected 9 Schools – all Panchayat Union Primary Schools (details in the attachment)

where overhead tank water connection is available, for sponsoring RO water system costing Rs.4.23 lacs.
Kindly note that we intend to sponsor the best available brand – EUREKA FORBES AQUAGUARD RO with storage facility costing Rs.46,500/- which can cater to more than 100 students at a time (Pl. view the quotation, terms & conditions, model, photo etc., in the attachment PDF linked below)
We also intend to sponsor one set of stitched uniform, tie, belt, shoe with shocks to 483 students (231 boys + 252 girls) of 5 schools at a cost of Rs.4.37 lacs. These Schools were not covered during our earlier projects.
Tamilnadu Government has introduced QR teaching system (Smart class Digital learning system) for 1st and 6th standard students from this academic year and intend to introduce the same for Standard 2nd to 5th from next academic year. By this system, teachers have to download the QR code in the book and teach. Teachers use their Android mobiles for downloading and teaching. But only 2 to 3 students can view the mobile at a time.
To ensure that all students view the lesson at a time, we have selected 3 Schools, one in Chennai District, one in Theni District and one in Namakkal District for sponsoring Digital smart classroom costing Rs.2,60 lacs. We discussed/interacted with teachers of these 3 Schools and ensured that they are well versed with teaching under QR code. (quotation in the PDF below)

RO & Digital Small class room can be arranged in 4 weeks time and uniform in 8 weeks time.
