Hon.”ble High Court , Madras vide judgement dt.17th July 2020, has permitted Private Schools/Colleges to collect 40% of last year’s fees even during lockdown period, on or before 31st August 2020, 35% within 2 months of reopening of Schools/Colleges, details of judgement is in the link below.
Due to COVID19, our Trust could not conduct Educational Sponsorship function arranged on 30th May 2020.
After hectic consultations both with Schools/Students, Our Trust has selected 188 eligible students (all are from poor family) for educational sponsorship for 2020-21 for a total amount of Rs.36.34 lacs (EXCLUDING students passed 12th Std., as college admission is yet to commence and FINAl year college students whose exams., are not conducted)
As per Hon.’ble High Court, Madras order, our Trust is going to disburse 40% of fees now (before 31-08-2020) which comes to Rs.14.81 lacs.
I request our wellwishers to kindly join this noble cause and sponsor fees (40% of fees) to as many students as possible.
Due to COVID 19, Trust will send the (sponsored amount) cheque directly to School/college.
